Instructions
MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
E 4 M12 x 110mm Bolts (10.9 Grade), Nyloc Nuts and Washers – 4 x 30mm O.D, 4 x 50mm O.D.
K 2 M12 Bolt Caps
SC 1 Safety chain loop
ZE 1 Electrical Plate (ZEP3)
For use with one of the following:
CH14B Flange neck option – ZF2005.
CH14BQ Detachable neck option – ZQ2005.
CH14BS - Swan neck option – ZS2005.
CH14BQF- Detachable flange neck option – ZQF2005.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
FITTING
1. Loosely fit the crossbar (A) using the four pre-bushed holes in chassis rails with bolts (E). Note the lugs on the central
boot plug may require bending on some models to clear the crosstube.
**On 2011 model Patriot/Compass, cut the bumper symmetrically about the centreline, as detailed below**

Attach neck option as per separate fitting instructions, Electrical Plate (ZE) and the Safety chain loop (SC).
3.
Fully tighten all bolts to the specified torque as shown below and fit Bolt Caps.
4.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm
