MATERIALS

Towbar Mainframe with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1

M12 x 100 x 1.75mm HT Bolts (Grade 10.9), M12 Washers and Lock Washers

ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)

M16 x 50 x 2.0mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers

10mm Coupling Packer

FITTING

Lower spare wheel. Remove 2 plastic pull clips to give access. Attach towbar Mainframe (A) to rear cross member

using Bolts (D). Tighten Bolts.

Raise spare wheel.

Notes: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally

Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.

This towball can also be used in conjunction with a Witter drop-plate giving a ball height reduction of 75mm (Witter part no. Z98)

Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.

Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm /

Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
