Prepare QuickBack for installation.
Loosen center knob.
Install trunk security strap.
Thread strap end of trunk security strap
around QuickBack frame, and insert
anchor end of trunk security strap
through loop as shown.
Position QuickBack on vehicle.
Do not place QuickBack
on vehicle's emblem.

Open trunk or hatch.
Insert anchor end of
trunk security strap
through opening
between trunk or hatch
and the vehicle. Be sure
strap is between the
hinges of trunk or hatch.
Close the trunk or hatch.
Note: Placement will vary depending on vehicle.
Position QuickBack support frames on trunk lip, hatch, rear door, or bumper
(only plastic bumpers with adequate metal reinforcement should be used. If
you are not sure, do not use the bumper for supporting the QuickBack). Use
area with the greatest support. Rotate foot pads so flat area is in contact
with vehicle.
Adjust sliding arms as needed, making sure the front of the rack is as
perpendicular to the vehicle as possible. Once the QuickBack is positioned
fully tighten center knob.
Some bumpers and body panels can
deform or "tin-can". Do not place
in these areas. This can result in
vehicle damage, or an insecure fit.
On vehicles with spoilers, make
sure QuickBack does not touch it.
Extend sliding arms.
Wicking of moisture
into the vehicle may
occur in wet conditions.
