1.
Remove taillights/fascia hardware – Open tailgate. Using a 10mm socket, remove (2) screws from driver side taillight and remove taillight by gently pulling rearward. Disconnect the wiring and set taillight aside.
Remove (2) additional screws just below the taillight using the same socket size. Repeat for opposite side.

Remove fascia/splash guard- a.) Using a flat head screwdriver, remove (4) plastic push-pin rivets from along bottom of fascia. b.) Using a flat head screwdriver, remove (1) plastic push-pin rivet from the top
driver side wheel well. Repeat for opposite side. c.) Using a flat head screwdriver, remove (3) plastic push-pin rivets from outer bottom edge of fascia near driver side wheel well. d.) Using a Philips screwdriver,
remove (2) screws from bottom of driver side mud flap. Repeat for opposite side. e.) Using a 10mm socket, remove (2) screws from splash guard, located on drivers' side. Return to owner. f.) Using a plastic trim
tool, starting at the outer ends near wheel well, carefully remove the fascia by gently pulling rearward while releasing the clips holding the fascia. g.) If equipped, disconnect all wiring harnesses from fascia and
carefully set fascia aside.

Remove frame plugs – Using a flat head screwdriver, remove (2) rearmost thread plugs from driver side frame rail. Repeat for opposite side.

Remove bumper beam – Remove tape from bumper beam. Using a 14mm socket with extension, remove (6) flange hex nuts. Keep hex flange nuts for hitch installation. Return bumper beam to vehicle owner.

Trim tab – Using tin snips trim metal tab as shown in Figure 2.
Install Hitch - NOTE: Apply blue thread locker to all fasteners. Raise the hitch into position. Loosely tighten M12 flange hex nuts to end panel. Then loosely attach bolt on brackets using 7/16" conical washers ②

and nuts ③ onto the carriage bolts ①, See Figure 1. Loosely install (4) M12 bolts ④, (2) ½ flat washer ⑥ , (2) ½" lock washer ⑤ and (2) ½" conical washers (teeth side toward frame rail) ⑦ into existing
weldnuts on the frame rail (2 per side).

Tighten all M10-1.25 fasteners with torque wrench to 42 Lb.-Ft. (57 N*M), 7/16-14 fasteners to 50 Lb-ft. (68 N*M) and M12 fasteners to 68 Lb-ft. (92 N*M)

Modify kick sensor – Using a flat head screwdriver remove (3) push rivets from kick sensor. Using a Philips screwdriver remove (3) screws from the kick sensor and disconnect it. Using a pair of pliers, remove clips
shown in Figure 3. Pull the wires back, secure with tape, and trim kick sensor as recommended in Figure 3. Reconnect kick sensor to vehicle using (1) screw and (1) push rivet after modification. NOTE: DO NOT
TRIM OR CUT ANY WIRES.
9.
Trim fascia –Locate the center of the fascia. Using a tape measure, marker, and utility knife, cut a notch in the bottom of fascia approximately 8.75'' wide by 4.25" tall. See Figure 4. Note: Be sure area is clear of
all electrical wiring before trimming.
10. Reinstall fascia/exhaust/taillights – Reconnect all wiring first. Then reconnect the wiring and reinstall the fascia using original hardware removed in step 2. Then, reinstall taillights, taillight covers using original
fasteners.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye
protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
