FITTING
1.
No need to remove or cut bumper. Remove the 3 screws retaining lashing eye to left chassis rail. Release
exhaust from two rearmost hangers and lower the spare wheel.
2.
Remove the two innermost screws holding the bumper beam to chassis using 12mm socket (one on each side,
located near Bolts (C)).
3.
Offer up Crossbar (A) and secure using Bolts (D). Insert one or both (1 each side) of Spacers (E) if or as
required between the vertical face of the vehicle frame and Tubular Crossbar (A) and attach using Bolts (C).
Tighten all Bolts.
4.
Reattach the two rubber exhaust hangers. Note: It may be necessary to replace the rearmost rubber exhaust
hanging rubbers with the Exhaust Mounting Rubbers (F) provided to gain the necessary exhaust clearances on
some models.
5.
Models with larger 215/65R15 spare wheels require the spare wheel cage mounting 30mm further forward using
one bolt either side.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
