MATERIALS:
A 1 Crossbar
B 1 Side Arm
C 1 Side Arm
D 4 M10 x 30 x 1.25mm Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (30mm O.D.)
E 4 M10 x 40 x 1.25mm Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (30mm O.D.)
F 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm Bolts and Nyloc Nuts
ZE 1 Electrical Plate
ZN 1 Chosen Neck Option
This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
FITTING:
1. Remove any plastic undertray concealing the chassis rails.
2. Remove three plastic fixings from the centre of the bumper edge to allow greater bumper flexibility.
3. Free the exhaust from the rearmost rubber supports (support exhaust).
4. Remove any tape covering the mounting points, ensuring the chassis holes and mating surfaces are fully clear of any
mastic compound and extrusions.
5. Sportage only: Use sketches below as a guide. Cut bumper as sketch X (GT-line), length 95mm for detachable necks
only or Y (standard bumper). At the center of the vehicle cut the plastic bracket located between bumper edge and
crash beam.
6. Pass the Sidearm (B) over the exhaust rubber and loosely attach it to the chassis using fixings (D) & (E). Ensure that
the Sidearm is not resting on the exhaust hanger.
7. Using fixings (F) loosely attach Crossbar (A) to Sidearm (B), easing the Crossbar up behind the bumper.
8. Loosely attach Sidearm (C) to Crossbar (A) using fixings (F), and to the chassis using fixings (D) & (E).
9. Attach neck option (ZN) and electrical plate (ZE).
10. Ensure bar is correctly aligned before fully tightening all fixings to their correct torque setting.
Re-attach the exhaust to it's rubber and replace the fixings to the edge of the bumper.

12. Replace any undertray that may have been removed.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M10 - 55 Nm, M12 - 95Nm
