FITTING
1.
Remove spare wheel, remove both rear silencers and remove both rear heat shields.
2.
Unclip Fog lamp wiring from bumper crash beam and cut out four connecting plates as shown in photograph below.
3.
Loosely attach sidearms (B) & (C) using fixings (F) & (G) with spreader plates (D) & (E) in position.
4.
Insert Cross Bar (A) into crash beam and loosely attach to sidearms (B) & (C) using fixings (H). Tighten all bolts.
5.
Cut exhaust heat shields to clear towbar side arms and re-fit. Re-fit exhaust silencers (Note: It is recommended that
the exhaust gaskets are replaced). Re-fit spare wheel.
6.
Attach Neck (ZQ) and Electrical Plate (ZE) using fixings (X) as per separate instruction.
7.
Fully Tighten all fixings.
Note:
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
