MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
B 1 Left hand sidearm
C 1 Right hand sidearm
D 1 Electrical plate mounting plate
F 1 Safety Chain Plate
E 4 M12 x 40 x 1.25 Bolts, Lock Washers and 30mm O.D. Flat Washers
F 4 M12 x 30 x 1.75mm Bolts and Nylocs
ZE 1 Flip up Electrical Plate (Z99)
Note: This towbar must be useD with 2030 series of necks and when fitted with a standard neck with either a Witter Towball (part
number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball, which dimensionally conforms to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal
to that of the towbar.
FITTING
1. Remove clips along bottom edge of bumper and 2 screws on inside of bumper at upper edge of lower valance, pull lower
skirt rearward to remove. Release clips retaining wheel arch protection covers and pull outwards to reveal towbar
mountings in side of chassis.
2. Loosely attach sidearms (B) and (C) to existing captive nuts in chassis using Bolts (E) with flat washers.
3. Cut bumper as shown below.
4. Insert Crossbar (A) inside lower edge of bumper – TAKE CARE NOT TO TRAP CABLES and loosely secure using Bolts
(F).
5. Fully Tighen Bolts and secure bumper.
6. Attach neck option and fit electrical plate (Z) and Safety Chain Plate (ZC) .
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200
Nm Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
