BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Remove the coffee maker from the packaging. Remove all plastic bags, fillers, safety locks
and packaging labels.
2. Inspect the coffee maker for damage which may have been caused in transport. If you sus-
pect that the coffee maker is damaged, do not use it. Consult the seller.
3. Verify that your power mains match the nameplate ratings of the coffee maker.
4. Wash and clean the coffee maker. Follow Section "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE".
5. Place the coffee maker on a firm, dry, stable, flat and level surface.

USING THE COFFEE MAKER

1. Open the top lid (3) and pour as much cold drinking water into the water tank (5) as you need.
Check the water level on the gauge (6). The gauge marks 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 15 are the num-
ber of coffee cups you can brew. MAX is about 1,8 litres of water.
CAUTION! Do not exceed the maximum water level of the tank (the MAX mark). Do not pour any water into the
coffee drip basket (8).
2. Place the coffee drip basket (8) inside the coffee maker. Put the coffee filter (7) in the bas-
ket (8). The coffee filter has a handle for easy installation and removal.
3. Pour enough ground or granulated coffee in the coffee filter (7). For a medium strong coffee,
add 1 teaspoon (6-7 g) per one coffee cup. Add as much coffee as you prefer and/or accord-
ing to the coffee variety.
4. Close the top lid. Never open the top lid when the coffee maker is brewing.
5. Put the glass coffee jug (9) on the heat plate (12). Make sure that the drip stop valve at bottom
of the coffee drip basket (8) is is fully engaged in the centre of the coffee jug lid (11) and open.
CAUTION! Do not add water to the coffee jug. While the coffee maker is brewing, the coffee jug will be slowly
filled with the brew.
6. Plug the coffee maker to the mains. The LCD (2a) starts to glow intermittently when the cof-
fee maker is powered on.
7. Start brewing your coffee by pressing the button you need:
- ON/OFF (2g) — brews coffee with a regular strength
- STRONG (2c) — brews stronger coffee
