16. Avoid the use of worn or blunt steels as the vibrations otherwise arising will have adverse effects
on health and machine performance and increase overall wear.
17. Fit only steels intended for use with the machine.
18. Do not operate the machine unless the steel is in position and secured by the retainer spring (shank
end C15, H15) . In the case of shank end K13 or A15 the steel is not secured and special care must
be taken. Pay special regard to item 11 on this page.
