5. Pull out the locking pin to release the shaft blade.

To examine the skid plate
•
Examine the skid plate for damage.
•
Examine the slot of the skid plate for too much wear.
•
Examine the bottom of the skid plate for too much
burrs.
•
Make sure that the skid plate is not twisted.
•
Lift the front and the rear of the skid plate. Make sure
that the blade moves freely through the slot of the
skid plate.
•
If the skid plate is damaged, replace the skid plate.

1. Put the front of the skid plate on the pin that is
installed at the front of the blade block.
2. Connect the rear, pointed end of the skid plate to the
blade block. Push it up until you hear a click.
3. Attach the blade block guard. Turn the 2 knobs of
the blade block guard and tighten until it is fully
attached to the blade block.
4. Lift the skid plate to make sure that the blade moves
through the skid plate freely.
To examine the engine oil level
1. Stop the engine.
2. Put the product on level ground.
3. Remove the oil tank cap and the attached dipstick.
4. Clean the oil from the dipstick.
5. Put the dipstick back in. Do not tighten the oil tank
cap.
