in the event of interruption in the Internet connection of the SOLARMAX device,

provided that the customer is responsible for the interruption and it is not
caused by a hardware and/or software fault of the SOLARMAX device
if necessary ports for remote maintenance are not activated
●
in the event of failure to regularly check that the mains connection is in order
●
in the event of irregular maintenance that does not comply with the maintenance
●
conditions described in the documentation of the SOLARMAX device

Exclusion of warranty
In addition to the reasons stated in section 7, SOLARMAX reserves the right to exclude
the warranty temporarily or permanently if the parameters of the system do not allow
the device to function properly (e.g., if a parameter mentioned in section 7 Exclusion
of BASIC warranty services is present). The exclusion of warranty can be lifted in agree-
ment with SOLARMAX. This requires written confirmation from SOLARMAX that the
Warranty Conditions are again in force.

Optional warranty extension
9.1
For units with the BASIC warranty, the duration of the warranty can be extended
by purchasing an optional warranty extension within the following periods. For cer-
tain devices, it can also be taken out for the provision of limited services only. The
available extensions per device can be found on our homepage. SOLARMAX confirms
the purchase of a warranty extension with a warranty certificate (including the serial
number of the product). In the event of a replacement, this certificate will not be
adjusted to the new serial number. The warranty extension remains unaffected by this.
9.2 Deadlines for concluding the warranty extension
Storage systems of the MAX.STORAGE series:
The extension of the BASIC warranty can be requested within 12 months after the date
of purchase or after delivery of the basic device by SOLARMAX, its specialist dealer or
its specialist trade partner. SOLARMAX may reject orders for optional warranty exten-
sions received later.
String inverters of the P, TP, MT and HT series / Connection Box 32HT2:
Warranty extensions can be requested within 6 months of the date of purchase.
SOLARMAX may reject orders for optional warranty extensions received later.
String inverters of the SP-, SMT-, SHT-series
Warranty extensions can be requested within 6 months of the date of purchase or deli-
very of the device by SOLARMAX or its specialist trade partner. SOLARMAX may reject
orders for optional warranty extensions received later.
Central inverters:
Warranty extensions can be requested within 3 months of the date of purchase, but no
later than 6 months after delivery of the device by SOLARMAX or its specialist trade
partner. SOLARMAX may reject orders for optional warranty extensions received later.
9.3 Scope of the warranty extension
Warranty extension covers all basic warranty services of the BASIC warranty. Sections
1 to 8 shall apply accordingly. The chargeable warranty extension begins with the
expiry of the last day of the 10-year BASIC warranty. The warranty extension period is
5 or 10 years depending on the option selected.
Warranty extensions apply exclusively to SOLARMAX devices that can be clearly iden-
tified by the serial number.
