Memory modules:

The warranty period of memory modules ends 120 months after the start of the
warranty,or when the maximum guaranteed number of cycles of the accumulator
as set out in section 3.1 is reached, whichever is earlier.
Accessories:

24 months from the date of purchase, but not exceeding 30 months after
SOLARMAX has delivered the device:

SOLARMAX has delivered the device
2.2 If devices or parts of devices are repaired, replaced or extended within the scope
of the BASIC warranty, the remaining warranty period of the original device shall apply
to the repaired / replaced / extended device or device part. Furthermore, if BASIC war-
ranty services are provided, this does not result in an extension of the BASIC warranty
period; the original BASIC warranty period therefore continues to apply to the remai-
ning devices or device parts. With the exception of an optional warranty extension,
SOLARMAX does not grant any warranty beyond the BASIC warranty period. After the
expiry of the BASIC warranty period for the respective SOLARMAX device, the warranty
holder can no longer make warranty claims of any kind.
Deviating written commitments by SOLARMAX shall take precedence.

Requirements and assertion of the BASIC warranty
3.1 A warranty claim under this BASIC warranty exists if the SOLARMAX device is
defective within the BASIC warranty period, as defined in section 2.1. The SOLARMAX
device is defective within the meaning of this BASIC warranty, if there is a material and/
or workmanship defect that impairs its functionality (material warranty). In the case
of memory modules, a warranty claim under this BASIC warranty exists if the usable
capacity of the accumulator falls below 80% of the nominal capacity within the BASIC
warranty period as defined in section 2.1 as a result of the degradation of the modules
within the warranty period (performance warranty).
The capacity may only be measured by SOLARMAX, its specialist trade partners and by
electricians, in accordance with SOLARMAX's specifications, taking into account the
safety instructions in the installation manual. The BASIC warranty of the accumulator
is limited to a maximum of 12,000 full cycles in total during the entire BASIC warranty
period. As soon as one of the two conditions (BASIC warranty period / number of cycles)
is exceeded, the BASIC warranty for the accumulator ends.
In order to make a claim under the BASIC warranty, the warranty holder must
(1) report any defects to the SOLARMAX hotline by phone or online at
solarmax.com/info-center
(2) present the original invoice or the receipt from the specialist dealer, stating the date
of purchase, the model designation and the name of the specialist dealer.
3.2 The warranty holder shall guarantee a permanently functioning Internet connec-
tion of the SOLARMAX device, as well as activation of all necessary ports for remote
maintenance.
