Audio connection

The mobile PA system is equipped with a microphone input, a microphone or instrument input, a line input/output
and an MP3 player which can play back MP3 files from USB media or SD memory cards.
Use only appropriate shielded cables for the connections. The use of other cables might cause
disturbances.
To avoid distortions or mismatches which could damage the device, you may only connect
dynamic microphones, condenser microphones or musical instruments which have their own
power supply to the MIC 1 (1) or the INSTRUMENT/MIC 2 (2) input.
Only devices with line or RCA connectors (line level) may be connected to the TAPE IN (3) line
input or the LINK OUTPUT (9).
Make sure no cables are damaged by sharp edges.
Also observe the connection values in the "Specifications".
Before you connect or disconnect cables, switch off the device using the POWER switch (8).
Connect your microphone to the MIC 1 socket (1). The multi-purpose socket allows you to connect jack plugs or
XLR plugs.
Connect an additional microphone or a musical instrument (e.g. an electric guitar) to the MIC 2 (2) input.
Connect the output of your audio source (e.g. CD player) to the TAPE IN (3) socket.
Connect the input of your recording device or your external amplifier to the LINK OUTPUT (9). Via this output,
the signal of the mobile PA system can be recorded or routed to an external amplifier to connect additional
loudspeakers.
Insert your USB medium into the USB interface of the MP3 player (6).
Insert your SD card into the SD card reader of the MP3 player (6).
If a medium is not recognised, remove it and insert it again.
