Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the mobile PA system, e.g. for damage to the mains cable or the housing
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and make
sure it is not unintentionally operated. Pull the mains plug from the socket and switch off the mobile PA system!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
•
the device shows visible damage
•
the device no longer functions
•
the product has been stored for a long time under unfavourable conditions
•
the device has been subjected to heavy transport strain
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the mobile PA system:
Live components may be exposed if the covering is opened or components are removed.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before carrying out any servicing or
repair work.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected
from all voltage sources.
Only qualified specialists familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations may
perform repairs.
Replacing the fuse
If you have to replace the fuse, ensure that you only use fuses of the specified type and rated current (see
"Specifications").
It is inadmissible to repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
•
After disconnecting the device from the mains supply (pull the power plug and disconnect the mains cable from
the device!), use a suitable screwdriver to carefully lever out the fuse holder with the defective fuse at the POWER
INPUT (7) mains connection.
•
Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
•
Carefully put the fuse holder with the new fuse back into its holder at the POWER INPUT (7) mains connection.
•
Only then may you reconnect the device to the mains and put it into operation again.
