Operation
Startup
•
Turn down the LEVEL (1, 2, 3) controls and the MASTER VOL (5) control (all the way to the left).
•
Turn the TREBLE, MIDDLE and BASE controls of the 3-band equaliser (4) to centre position.
•
Use the POWER switch (8) to switch on the mobile PA system.
•
The POWER LED next to the MASTER VOL (5) control lights up.
•
The SOUND SYSTEM BATTERY LEVEL (10) display shows the battery level:
The more green LEDs light up, the higher is the remaining capacity.
If the LOW LED lights up, the battery has to be recharged very soon.
•
Set a medium volume using the MASTER VOL (5) control.
Microphone and instrument mode
•
Say something into the microphone or play on your instrument. Set the input level of the LEVEL control of the
MIC 1 or INSTRUMENT/MIC 2 input (depending on where the microphone/instrument is connected) so that the
sound is as loud as possible but not distorted.
Do not point microphones towards the built-in loudspeaker. This can cause feedback which results in
a loud whistling sound.
Line mode
•
Start playback on your audio source device connected to the TAPE IN (3) socket and set the input sensitivity of
this input using the LEVEL control so that the sound is not distorted but as loud as possible.
USB/SD card mode
If a medium is not recognised after it has been inserted, remove it and insert it again.
•
Use the USB/SD button to select the desired medium. The USB and SD LEDs above the button show the active
medium.
If only one medium is inserted, the button has no function. The inserted medium is activated
automatically.
•
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback from the selected medium.
•
During playback, the green LED above the PLAY/PAUSE button is lit.
•
Press buttons V+ and V- repeatedly to set the volume of the MP3 player. Make sure the sound is not distorted
but as loud as possible.
