Audio Connection
The mobile PA system is equipped with a microphone input, a combined input for microphones or instruments, a line
input/output and an MP3 player which can play back MP3 files from USB media or SD memory cards.
Use only suitable shielded cables for connection. The use of other cables might cause
interferences.
To avoid distortions or mismatches which could damage the device, you may only connect
dynamic or capacitive microphones which have their own power supply or musical instruments
to the MIC 1 (1) and INSTRUMENT/MIC (2) inputs.
Only devices with line or cinch sockets (line level) may be connected the line input CD IN (3) and
the output LINK OUTPUT (9).
Ensure there are no sharp edges which could damage the cables.
Also observe the connection values in the "Technical data".
Deactivate the device using the POWER switch (8), before you add or remove connection lines.
•
Connect your microphone to the MIC socket (1). The connection has a combination socket which you can connect
both jack plugs as well as XLR plugs to.
•
Connect another microphone or musical instrument (e.g. electrical guitar) to the INSTRUMENT/MIC 2 (2) input.
•
Connect the output of your audio source (e.g. CD player) to the CD IN socket (3).
•
Connect the input of your recording device or your external amplifier to the LINK OUTPUT socket (9). Via this
output, the signal of the mobile PA system can be recorded or forwarded to an external amplifier for connection
of additional speakers.
•
Connect your USB storage medium to the USB port of your MP3 player (6).
•
Insert your SD card in the SD card reader of your MP3 player(6).
