Assembling the E-Socket for
mounting on the left side
Preparing for installation

Orientate the Junction box with the opening
facing to the left.
Do not damage the power cables and wires.

Insert the cable gland at the top of the junction

box and fit the locknut. Do not tighten.

Insert the filler plug at the bottom of the
junction box and fit and tighten the locknut.

Feed power cord through the cable gland.
•
Feed the stripped end with the cable shoes through
the gland.
•
Tighten the gland.
Ensure the cable is clamped firmly in the gland.
Only then will the IP54 sealing be effective.
Take care not to damage the cables; keep them
clear of the locking mechanism so they do not
obstruct it.
