The appliance and its power cord have to kept away from chil-
dren under the age of 8.
36. Keep the appliance and the power cord away from children and
pets.
37. Children must be supervised to prevent them from playing with

the appliance.
38. Always switch the appliance off before pulling the plug, oth-
erwise the appliance might be damaged.
39. Do not place anything on the appliance while it is in use or in
storage.
40. Pull the plug after every use. Only then, the appliance is fully
switched off.
41. The appliance has to be cleaned after every use. Please refer
to the notes given in the section "Cleaning and maintenance"
on page 64 of this manual.
42. Only clean the appliance chassis with a dry or slightly moist
cloth. Never use aggressive, abrasive or acidic detergents for
cleaning.
43. Always hold the multigrater by its base when lifting or mov-
ing it. Always switch the appliance off first, pull the plug and
empty out the funnel / the cutting drum. Please be very careful
when moving the appliance and do not shake or throw it; it
might be damaged.
44. Should you notice a strange smell or sound, switch the appli-
ance off and pull the plug. Do not start using it again before
having its functionality and safety checked by Solis or a service
centre authorised by Solis.
45. Never touch the grating blades in the cutting drums. They are
extremely sharp and might hurt you!

46. Keep long hair, jewellery and clothing items etc. away from the
rotating cutting drum and the funnel.
47. Never use the appliance without the inserted cutting drum
or without the correctly mounted cutting drum holder with
funnel.
48. If you have used the appliance continually for 2 minutes, you
should definitively take a break of 2 minutes to prevent the
motor from overheating.
49. Caution: When cleaning or removing resp. installing parts, the
appliance has to be at a complete standstill and be switched
off as well as disconnected from the power. Otherwise, there
is the risk of injury.
