1.2 Adjustment to the size of the child
1.2.1. Preparation
The HEYNER® MultiRelax AERO Fix is equipped with a
reduction cushion (K). The cushion is determined for a
special protection of small children with a weight bet-
ween 9kg and 18kg.
We recommend to use this cushion until your child has
weight of 18kg.
1.2.2 Height adjustment of the headrest (A) and the
shoulder belts (G2)
to the size of your child
Only an optimally adjusted headrest ensures maximum
protection. The headrest should be adjusted in such a
way that the integrated fi ve-point belt system (G) runs
at shoulder height of the child. Please take care that
the belts
neither run behind the back of the child nor at ear level.
In order to adjust the height of the headrest (A) to the
size of your child, grasp the headrest from above and
pull the adjustment lever (H) up.
According to the size of your child, you can now adjust
the headrest (A) in the way that the belts run along on
the shoulder of your child. As soon as you have adjusted
23
it to the correct height, release the adjustment lever (H)
and the headrest snaps in the desired height.
The headrest can be adjusted in 10 diff erent positions.
In group I the headrest can be adjusted to 5 diff erent
height. If you remove the 5-point belt 5 further
positions are possible. Check the run of the belts and the
height of the headrest from time to time and adjust them
to the growing child.
The three-point belt of a car consists of four parts:
The lap belt (O), the diagonal belt (N), the belt tongue (P)
and the three-point lock (Q).
