Preface
This EURO-DAN Harrow is applicable for harrowing.
Please study this book before you start using the machine and keep the book close to your EURO-DAN throughout the
entire life of the machine.
The instructions and information contained are subject to alterations.
The Responsibility of the User
The user is responsible that the driver is adequately qualified. As the use of the DOUBLET-RECORD harrows is
beyond our control, we can only guarantee the quality of the machine and no claims for compensation in connection
with its performance will be accepted.
Any kind of personal injury in connection with a person staying within an area dangerous to people will always be the
user's responsibility.
The user is responsible that the machine is legal when transported on public thoroughfare. Please consider especially the
following:
Lighting during lighting-up time, correct tractor weight distribution (front weights may be required), permissible
transport width.
The user is responsible for a regular inspection of all screws and nuts as well as tensioning of such as required.
EURO-DAN Safety
The machine must not be started if an exposed person** stays within a dangerous area*.
When exposed persons stay within a dangerous area (e.g. in connection with adjustment, maintenance, hitching and
unhitching), the following items shall be complied with:
1.
The harrow shall be lowered down to a firm support.
2.
The hydraulic system shall be relieved.
3.
The tractor shall be stopped and the key removed from the ignition.
The driver shall ensure that during the use of the harrow no persons stay within the dangerous area.

Dangerous area: At the machine and within a distance of 5 m from the machine.

Exposed person: Any person staying fully or partly within a dangerous area.
Maximum working pressure of the hydraulic system amounts to 225 bar.
This machine and its tyre equipment have been designed for max. 30 km/h for road transport.
