11 – MAINTENANCE CLEANING AND STORAGE OF THE INCUBATOR AT THE END OF THE CYCLE
Cleaning should only be undertaken with the power off and the plug disconnected.
Do not immerse electrical components in water to clean them.
Ensure maintenance operations are performed in a clean environment.
At the end of the cycle, thoroughly clean the lower part of the incubator with neutral detergent first, then disinfect it with a chlorine-based
disinfectant or some household bleach.
Thoroughly clean the lid exterior with a soft cloth, dampened with clean water and squeezed out.
The external part of the protection grill of the lid should be cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with alcohol. Blow the internal part with
compressed air to remove any feathers dropped by the chicks.
DURING THIS OPERATION THE MACHINE SHALL BE UNPLUGGED.
Do not use solvents, diluents and toxic chemicals.
Allow all parts to dry thoroughly. Place the incubator in a dry place, safe from shocks and changes in temperature. Do not put any other object on
top of it.
Do not attempt maintenance on electrical components.
12 – ASSEMBLY OF THE EGG TURNING UNIT ON THE SEMI-AUTOMATIC INCUBATOR
Instructions to mount the egg turning unit (the procedure is the same for all the models of our incubators):
A)
Pull
out
the
metal
semiautomatic turning of the eggs from the
incubator and remove the egg tray.
B)
Place the capsized base of the incubator on
a table. Place the egg turning unit inserting
its steel tongue into the hole and making it
adhere perfectly to the side and bottom of
the incubator.
C)
Keeping it in place, fix it to the bottom using
the two supplied screws.
D)
The egg turning unit is now installed Replace
the egg tray. Ensure that the steel tongue of
the unit is inside the fissure of the egg tray
element.
