Instructions for electrical connection to luminaire with option junction box

1. Unscrew the screws (4) from the J-Box cover to access the terminal block.
2. Carefully open the cover of the J-Box.
3. Install NPT conduit(s) to desired entrances.
4. Use the supplied plugs to seal any unused conduct entrances.

Instructions for Attaching Bird Spikes
1. Make sure there is no debris inside the luminaire's pre-drilled holes
(see detail 1).
2. The bird spikes will be installed only on top of the fins.
3. Match the luminaire's pre-drilled holes to the ones in the bird spike
strip (see detail 1).
4. Secure to luminaire with (2) #8 x ½ '' per bird spike strip.
5. The TULS and TULM use the same bird spike length.
6. Install one strip on TULS and two on TULM/TULL
7. Tighten the set screws to 25 lbs.in
5. Apply thread sealant around the external threads of all
electrical inlet pipes, plugs, and around the internal
threads of the enclosure. Force the lubricant into the
threads. The gasket must be airtight. Tighten torque
according to the supplier's recommendations.
6. Insert the electrical supply wires through the input.
7. Connect the power wires to the terminal block, as per
the "Electrical Connection" section on page 2.
8. Close the J-Box cover and secure it with the cover
closing screws. Tighten evenly and securely (do not over
tighten). Recommended torque : 27 in-lbs.
