Troubleshooting
Problem
The appliance does not display
anything.
The device does not heat.
The appliance stays in heat mode.
The buttons are not working.
The appliance continues to heat
outside of the programmed time
period.
Boost does not work in Programme
mode.
The icon is constantly flashing.
The icon flashes.
''Er'' flashes.
''Filt'' flashes and the fan stops
(only for an appliance with a
blower).
The appliance gives off a smell.
IMPORTANT : If the problem persists, disconnect the power supply for 15 seconds then check
its operation.
• Check that a circuit breaker has not cut the power to the
appliance.
• Select Comfort mode.
• Increase the temperature setting.
• Shut down the appliance for a few minutes to reset the thermal
safety circuit breaker.
• Stop Boost.
• Reduce the temperature setting.
• Check that there are no air currents nearby.
• Unlock the keypad by pressing and holding for 3 seconds on the
button.
Outside of the time periods, the appliance does not switch off but
goes into Eco mode.
• Reduce the Eco temperature.
• Check that another time period is not activated.
If Boost was stopped manually during Programme mode, it can only
be reactivated automatically after a period of 2 hours.
• Activate Boost manually.
The time is out of alignment.
• Set the time.
This is normal during Boost.
Faulty temperature sensor (this fault prevents the appliance from
switching on).
• Check that the filter is clean and that there is no cloth between
the filter and the wall and in front of the air outlet.
• Clean the appliance's vents.
• Switch off the blower for a few minutes to reset the thermal
safety circuit breaker.
• Check the blower connection plug on the towel heater.
When it is used for the first time or if it has remained unused for a
prolonged period of time, the appliance can release an unpleasant
smell, which should disappear quickly.
