SAFETY INFORMATION
13. Dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline, they can be extremely
dangerous if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and keep
children away from the dishwasher when the door is open.
14. The door should not be left in the open position since this could
present a tripping hazards.
15. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
16. Remove the door to the washing compartment when removing an
old dishwasher from service or discarding it.
17. Dispose of packing materials properly.
18. Use the dishwasher only for its intended function.
19. During installation, the power supply must not be excessively or
dangerously bent or flattened. Do not tamper with controls.
20. The appliance is to be connected to the water mains using new hose
sets and that old hose-sets should not be reused.
21. The maximum number of place settings to be washed is 8.
22. The maximum permissible inlet water pressure is 14.5 psi (1 MPa).
23. The minimum permissible inlet water pressure is 5.8 psi (0.04 MPa).
24. Do not use this dishwasher outdoors.
25. This appliance must be properly installed in accordance with the
installation instructions before its use.
26. This appliance must be connected to a proper electrical outlet with
the correct electrical supply.
27. Disconnect electrical power and water intake hose to dishwasher
before cleaning and/or servicing.
28. Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced in a
hot-water system that has not been used for two weeks or more.
HYDROGEN GAS IS EXPLOSIVE. If the hot-water system has not
been used for such a period, before using the dishwasher turn on
all hot-water faucets and let the water flow from each for several
minutes. This will release any accumulated hydrogen gas. As the gas
is flammable, do not smoke or use an open flame during this time.
