Capacitive sensors with EasyTeach Function - ETW = Easy Teach by wire
1. Mounting
Mount and fix the sensor in the desired position.
The sensor (device) can be installed from above,
below and from the side. The mounted position
is not normally relevant for the measurement.
What is important is that the active area of the
sensor (PEEK tip) reaches into the container so
that it is completely immersed in the product to
be detected when the container is filled.

2. Electrical connection

The electrical connection should be made
according to the connection diagram below.
Please observe the technical specifications
provided on the device and the data sheet.
The sensor is delivered - factory setting - with
the sensitivity set to water.

3. Adjustment

The adjustment is made using the EasyTeach
wire (NO = pin 2, NC = pin 4).
The following adjustments can be made in
sequences:
The full value is determined with a full
adjustment.
The outputs reflect the status of the LEDs.
The respective adjustment of the selected
action is made by disconnecting the Teach wire
(NO = pin 2, NC = pin 4) from the supply voltage.

Attention:
Please ensure that the active area of
the sensor is completely immersed
in the product to be detected when
making the sensitivity adjustment so
that there is a connection between
the product and active area up to the
metal.
