It is essential to set the date and time. Otherwise, you will not
be able to save your measured values correctly with a date
and time and access them again later.
The time is displayed in the 24-hour format.
If you press and hold the function button SET, you can
set the values more quickly.
• Press the setting button MODE. The year flashes on the dis-
play.
• Set the year with the function button SET and confirm with
the setting button MODE.
• Set the month, day, hour and minutes and confirm each
setting with the setting button MODE.
If you wish to change the date and/or time after it has
already been set, press the setting button MODE twice in
order to return to settings mode.

5. Measuring blood pressure

Positioning cuff
• Bare your left wrist, making sure that the circulation in the
arm is not restricted by any clothes etc. that are too tight.

• Fasten the cuff with the Velcro fastening so that the upper
edge of the monitor is positioned approx. 1 cm below the
ball of your thumb.
• The cuff has to be fitted tightly around the wrist but should
not constrict it.
Correct posture
• Rest for approx. 5 minutes before each measurement.
Other wise there may be divergences.
• You can perform the measurement
while sitting or lying. To carry out a blood
pressure measurement, make sure you
are sitting comfortably with your arms
and back leaning on something. Do not
cross your legs. Place your feet flat on
the ground. Make sure to rest your arm and move it. Always
make sure that the cuff is at heart level. Otherwise signifi-
cant deviations can occur. Relax your arm and the palm of
your hand.
• In order not to distort the result, it is important to keep still
during the measurement and not talk.
Performing the blood pressure measurement
• As described above, attach the cuff and adopt the posture
in which you want to perform the measurement.
• Start the blood pressure monitor with the on/off button
The most recently used user memory
( , or ) appears. To change the user memory,
press the function button SET.
• Now start the measurement by holding the on/off button
