Troubleshooting
By purchasing this system you have acquired a product that has been designed to the state of the art and is
operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible faults:
Always observe the safety instructions!
No sound is audible:
•
A device in the playback chain is not turned on.
•
The wrong input was selected on the amplifier.
•
The volume control (5) is set to minimum.
•
The cassette in the tape deck is not recorded.
One channel does not function:
•
A cinch cable connected recorder or amplifier has come loose.
•
While recording a cinch cable has come loose from the cinch input of the cassette deck resp. from the amplifier
output.
•
A connection cable has come off from the amplifier.
There is a buzzing sound:
•
A cinch cable is defective.
The replay is dull and hissing:
•
The tape head is dirty.
•
The cassette used is old or bad.
Repairs other than those described above should only be performed by an authorised
specialist.
