Take a single-use pipette and check there are no defects or foreign bodies.
Insert the pipette into the trapper and check it fits tightly into the trapper. The device is ready for a new measurement. Remind the patient not to inhale in
the pipette.
3.4.2.Mode Monitoring
Description
This mode records the level of atmospheric carbon monoxide over a time defined in the TABATABA
Monitoring can be run for a recording time of:

1/4 hour

1 hour
•
8 hours
•
24 hours
In all cases, a measurement is taken every 1 minute. After each recording, the TABATABA

TWA (Time Weighted Average)
•
STEL (Short Term Exposure Limit)

Use

Do not use CO trapper or pipette.
2.
Place the TABATABA® V2 cursor on Monitoring mode (M) and switch on via the On/Off button.

While pressing on the Unit/0 button, press the On/Off button.
The "Init" message appears, and recording begins.

As soon as recording begins, the TABATABA
displays "RUN" and the measured value, then goes on standby. The TABATABA

run a new monitoring.

The TABATABA
V2 can store two monitorings, the TWA, STEL and C values displayed corresponding to the values of the last monitoring recorded.
If the storage memory is full, the "Full" message is displayed for a few seconds. A long press on the Unit/0 button deletes all monitorings. The "CLR"
message appears, indicating that the memory has been deleted.
A monitoring in progress can be stopped by activating the device (On/Off button). The screen displays "RUN".
Validate by pressing the OK/SETUP button.
3.4.3.Alarm Mode
Description
In this mode, a sound and visual alarm is set off when the preset threshold (during set-up of the device) has been reached.

The TABATABA
V2 has two alarm thresholds:

Low threshold alarm
•
High threshold alarm
When an alarm threshold is reached, the device sets off an intermittent sound and visual alarm (red LED). The alarm signal remains active for at least 10
seconds.
These two thresholds are differentiated by a more rapid frequency signal for the high level.
Use

Do not use CO trapper or pipette.

Place the TABATABA® V2 cursor to Alarm mode.
Press the On/Off button. The TABATABA® V2 displays "ALAR". It then goes to low consumption mode (displayer blanks).
