Assembly
Column to Base plate, (Fig. 2)
Position the base plate (1) on the floor or work-
1
bench.
Place the column (15) on the base plate and align
2
holes in the column (15) with holes in the base plate
(1).
3
Attach and fasten the column (15) by mounting hex-
agon bolts (20), spring washers (21) and washers
(22) into the base plate (1).
Drilling table to column, (Fig. 3)
1
Push the drilling table (16) onto the column (15).
Position the drilling table (16) right above the base
plate (1).
Secure the drilling table (16) in position by using the
2
lock handle (11).
Machine head to column, (Fig. 4)
1
Place the machine head (7) onto the pillar (15).
2
Align the spindle of the drilling machine with the
drilling table (16) and the base plate (1) and tighten
the 2 stud bolts (A) with an Allen wrench (18).
Assembling the feed handles (Fig. 5)
1
Screw the feed handles (10) tightly into the thread-
ed holes of the spindle hub.
Installing the chuck, (Fig. 5)
Clean the conical hole in the chuck (4) and the spin-
1
dle cone with a clean piece of fabric. Make sure
there are no foreign particles sticking to the sur-
faces. The slightest piece of dirt on any of these
surfaces will prevent the chuck (4) from seating
properly. This will cause the drill bit to wobble. If
tapered hole in the chuck (4) is extremely dirty, use
a cleaning solvent on the clean cloth.
Push the chuck (4) up on the spindle nose as far
2
as it wiII go.
3
Turn chuck sleeve anticlockwise (when viewed
from above) and open jaws in chuck (4) completely.
Place a piece of wood on the machine table and
4
lower the spindle onto the piece of wood. Press
firmly to ensure that the chuck sits exactly.
Drill chuck protection (Fig. 6)
1
Remove the 3 screws (B) with a Phillips screwdriver
(not included in the scope of delivery).
Slide the drill chuck protection (3) onto the nut of
2
the valve (C).
Secure the drill chuck protection (3) in position with
3
3 scrubs.
Fastening radial drill press to supporting surface
For your own safety, it is highly recommended to in-
stall the machine on a bench or similar.
Inserting batteries (Fig. 7 / 8 / 9)
1
Remove the 2 screws (D) on the hood belt guard
(8) with a Phillips screwdriver (not included).
2
Loosen the belt tension locking lever (9) and push

Operation
WARNING! If you are not familiar with this kind of ma-
chine, take advice from a technically skilled person.
In any case you should have read and understood the
safety and operational instructions before attempting
to operate this product.
Pivoting the table (Fig. 10)
In order to place the drilling table (16) in the tilted
1
position, loosen the table locking (I) with a flat
spanner (SW18) and set the desired table angle.
Retighten the table locking (I).
Adjusting table height (Fig. 1)
Loosen the table locking handle (11).
1
Adjust the drilling table (16) to the desired height.
2
3
Retighten the table locking handle (11).
Note: It is better to secure the table in a position so
that the tip of the drill bit is just slightly above the top
of the workpiece.
Setting speed and V-belt tension (Fig. 7/8/9)
Attention! Disconnect the drill press from the
power source
Remove the 2 screws (D) on the hood belt guard
1
(8) with a Phillips screwdriver (not included).
Loosen the belt tension locking lever (9) and push
2
the motor (12) aside to relieve any belt tension.
3
Place the two belts at the desired position to
achieve the specified speed.
This drill press provides 9 different speeds. The
speed can be set by changing the position of the
two V-belts. The V-belts are tightened between
