Installation instructions
GB
for the specialist company
2.10 Checking the installation and function
● Check the fully completed installation (visual inspection)!
● Switch the pellet fireplace on and check all of the functions, and
check the chimney flue for leaks! Carry out initial commissioning!
2.11 Initial commissioning by the specialist company
● Please ensure that no objects made from flammable materials
are located or placed in the radiation range of the fireplace (min-
imum distance 800 mm, measured from the viewing window in
the combustion chamber door)!
● Before heating for the first time, check that all accessories have
been removed from the ash pan and combustion chamber! To do
this, release the ash pan lock, which is located behind the inspec-
tion door, and pull the ash pan out to the front! The combustion
chamber door lock is located underneath the combustion cham-
ber door.
● Remove the protective film from the touch control panel!
● Convection air openings may not be covered!
● The precautions for the combustion air supply may not be mod-
ified. In particular, care must be taken to ensure that the nec-
essary combustion air lines are open during operation of the
fireplace!
● Plug the white and blue connector supplied into the socket on
the rear of the appliance. If the pellet fireplace should be operated
with accessories (e.g. room thermostat)! Connect the connection
cables to the connector first!
Note: the connector must be plugged in even without acces-
sories, otherwise the pellet fireplace is not ready for operation.
● Plug the shockproof plug into a 230 V/50 Hz shockproof socket.
● Fill the pellet reservoir with pellets (see chap. 3.2)!
● During initial commissioning, or if the pellet duct is empty, or
if the reservoir runs empty, a handful of pellets must be poured
into the burner trough towards the igniter. Otherwise, only the
pellet duct will be filled within the filling period in the start phase
and only an insufficient 2-5 pellets will fall into the burner trough.

● Set the master switch to "I" (back right of the appliance)!
ū The touch control panel display is activated automatically.
We reserve the right to make technical changes
Note: the smell which may occur as a result of curing of the
protective coating will disappear once the pellet fireplace has
been burning with good room ventilation for several hours.
Attention! Property damage! The pellet fireplace is coated
with a high-quality temperature-resistant coating which only
reaches its final strength after being heated for the first time.
You therefore should not place anything on the tiled pellet
fireplace or touch the surfaces as this may damage the
coating.
2.12 Handover of the system to the user
● After installation, instruct the user of the system with regard to:
ū Use,
ū Operation,
ū Functioning,
ū Care and cleaning (user),
ū Necessary annual maintenance (specialist company)!
● In particular, instruct the user of the system in the risks associated
with the pellet fireplace, as well as in the safety information and
safety precautions!
● Fill out the handover certificate (blank form attached)!
● Hand the product/the system over to the user together with this
manual and all other documents!

Commissioning certificate

The proper installation, commissioning and handover of the pellet
fireplace is documented by the commissioning certificate (sepa-
rate document). Instruction of the system user by the specialist
company, in particular in the risks associated with the pellet fire-
place and in the safety information and safety precautions is also
certified by the specialist company and user's signatures.

2.13 Disassembly and disposal

The applicable international, national and region-specific laws and
regulations at the time of disposal of the pellet fireplace must be
observed.
● Take care to ensure that the recyclability of materials, and the pos-
sibility of disassembly and separation of materials and assem-
blies is taken into consideration as well as the environmental and
health risks of recycling and disposal. Material groups such as
plastics and metals of different types should be sorted before be-
ing sent for recycling or disposal!
