To meet these conditions, Jydepejsen has developed an air supply system for EOS that contains three indivi-
dual air systems (see ill.)
Air supply for lighting:
Air supply for lighting supplies air directly into the bottom of the combustion chamber, throgh the front
vermiculite parts. By sliding the air vent to a fully open position, the air supply for lighting is at a maximum.
Air supply for combustion:
The air supply for combustion supplies the fire with a much bigger amount of air, and contributes conside-
rably to a good combustion. This air system also keeps the glass clean - due to the vertical air slits along
the glasses, the air is pulled along them and in this way, makes sure that they stay clean. The air supply for
combustion is also controlled by sliding the air vent.
Direct air:
Direct air ist supplied through the back vermiculite panel, and secures a final combustion of gasses in the
top of the combustion chamber. The direct air supply cannot be adjusted, which is a guarantee for a good
combustion, also when the fire is supplied with a minimum of combustion air.
