a) Unpack the ceramic covering with all its special accompanying components.
b) Unpack the stove's base and all relevant components.
c) Unpack the heater with all its special accompanying components.
CAUTION: It is recommended that the unpackaging and installation be performed by at least two persons.
Once having selected the location where the heater is to be installed, taking into consideration the distances and
the position of the flue according to the instructions of the "CONNECTION TO FLUE" section contained in the
heater use and maintenance booklet, proceed as follows:
1. Position the base (13) verifying its planarity and the correct position with respect to the flue.
2. Carefully set the insert (11) on the base (13) and fasten the insert's feet with the M6x10 screws and
corresponding 6x14 washers (Fig.1 ). If necessary for centering the holes, slightly loosen the screws which
fasten the feet to the insert.
3. Position the front piece (12) on the insert, inserting the registers in the respective front-piece slits. Hold the
front piece to the insert and fasten it with the corresponding M4x20 screws and 4x16 washers ( Fig.2 ).
4. At this point, mount the eventual Ventilation kit following the instructions provided therein.
5. Lay fiberglass adhesive strip provided along the lateral panels provided (1). Next position the lateral panels
(1) inserting the tangs in the base slots (13) and fasten them tightening the screws and washers provided
with the corresponding brackets (8) and (10) ( Fig.3 ).
6. Position the small upper front panel (3) inserting the tang in the metal front piece's slot (12). Next insert the
brackets (9) (Fig.4 ).
7. Insert the small lower front panel (2) in the corresponding seat attaching the brackets to the front piece
tangs (12) ( Fig.5 – Fig.6 ).
8. Screw on upper smoke exhaust union provided with the heater series using the brass M8 screws and the
8x24 washers provided, inserting the fiberglass strip under the union.
9. Connection with rear exhaust :
a. Wearing protective gloves, remove the rear panel's semi-sheared openings with the help of a
screwdriver and pliers;
b. Replace the upper union of the series with the optional rear one, remembering to insert the
fiberglass strip ( Fig.8 );
c. After having completed the instructions in the "CONNECTION TO FLUE" section contained in the
heater use and maintenance booklet, insert the pipe section in the flue and connect it to the union.
10. Place a polystyrene packaging panel on the floor and set the plate panel upon it (4), position the adhesive
fiberglass gasket provided on the underlying edge to avoid chipping it while positioning it and to
compensate for possible irregularities( Fig.9 ).
