Adjusting the tuner
To ensure proper functioning of the tuner,
the device must be set for the region in
which it is being operated. You can select
between Europe (EUROPE), America (USA)
and Thailand (THAI). The tuner is factory-
set to the region in which it was sold. If you
experience problems with your radio recep-
tion, please check this setting.
Note:
The radio functions described in these
operating instructions refer to the tun-
er setting USA.

Switch off the device by pressing the
On/Off button 3.
u
Hold the buttons 3 and 6 8 pressed
at the same time and switch on the de-
vice again with the On/Off button 3.
The current setting (EUROPE, USA or THAI)
is displayed.

Select your tuner region with the
button <.
To save the setting,
u
press the MENU/OK button ;. The
radio starts playing with the last setting
selected (radio, CD, CD changer, USB
or AUX).

Selecting the waveband/memory
bank
This device can receive programmes broad-
cast over the FM and AM frequency bands.
3 memory banks (FM1, FM2 and FMT) are
available for the FM waveband and 2 mem-
ory banks (AM and AMT) for the AM wave-
band.
Six stations can be stored in each memory
bank.
To switch between the FM1, FM2, FMT, AM,
and AMT memory banks,
