This appliance has been designed to ensure maximum safety. However, it is important to
keep it perfectly clean and free of all fat or particles of food.
As your appliance has a steam function, it is recommended to use this function for cleaning
the cavity: steam dissolves fat and detaches particles stuck to the walls of the cavity,
making the cleaning operation quick, easy and effective:
- Operate the appliance for 10 minutes in steam only mode.
- Stop the appliance and unplug it.
- Wipe the interior walls with a sponge: all the dirt will come off without rubbing.
- Empty the water tank and drain the internal tank (operations described above in "After
steam cooking").
- Carefully wipe and dry the walls with a cloth or operate for 10 minutes in convection mode
to dry the cavity thoroughly.
- All the accessories can be cleaned in the normal way by hand or in a dishwasher.
- To clean the outer walls, use a cloth or a damp sponge. In case of resistant stains, use a
non-abrasive washing solution or a window cleaning product. Rinse and wipe with a dry
cloth. Never use metallic scouring pads which could damage the surface of the oven.
Caution: never leave water in the oven when not in use. After each use in steam or
combined steam mode, the oven must be drained and dried (see "After steam cooking").
Similarly, the steam diffusion nozzles and the steam diffusion plate must be cleaned
regularly.
The appliance must be descaled on average once every two months.
- Make a 250 ml solution containing 50 % water and 50 % white vinegar.
- Fill the water tank with this solution.
- Operate the oven in steam only mode until complete evaporation of the solution.
- Fill the tank with clear water.
- Operate the oven again in steam mode to rinse the circuit.
- When the water has evaporated, sponge the inside of the oven and dry it carefully.
