- Filling during cooking
The capacity of the water tank provides amply sufficient cooking autonomy. However, if the
tank is empty during cooking, it is possible to reload it without interrupting the functioning of
the appliance.
- Proceed as described above in "Pre-filling the water tank".
- Caution: the water tank becomes hot during functioning. Take the necessary precautions
to avoid any risk of burns.
Recommendations for steam cooking
- Steam cooking times are generally the same as for cooking in boiling water.
- The cooking time for frozen and fresh vegetables is roughly the same.
- Be careful to distribute the food evenly in the dripping pan or on the grill. Separate frozen
food items so that they do not form blocks.
- Taste the food after it is cooked and season only after cooking: this will prevent excessive
seasoning as flavours are enhanced by steam cooking.
- To steam-cook rice, fruit and dried vegetables: place them in a dish and add a volume of
water equal to the volume of the food.
- For cooking pasta, comply with the cooking times indicated on the packaging. Pasta must
be well covered with water.
To obtain the best results with your oven
• Do not overload the oven.
• As far as possible, place the food carefully at the centre of the appliance.
• Do not open the door too frequently during cooking to avoid heat losses.
• Watch over the cooking carefully when you try new recipes.
