used for exceptional emergency announcements.
You can't search for this, but the tuner will switch
automatically to that station if it picks up this RDS
signal.
Displaying RDS information
RDS is broadcast on many FM stations. This system
can display three kinds of RDS information: Radio
Text, Program Service name, and Program Type.
DISPLAY/RDS
Here's how to display the information.
1 While listening to an FM station, press
DISPLAY (remote) or DISPLAY/RDS
(front panel) until you see RDS in the
display.
