PRESET FUNCTION
The PRESET function works only for automatic cooking functions such as SOUP, SIMMER
AND STEAM. The PRESET time allows you to set or delay the start time for the automatic
cooking functions. It can be programmed from 1 minute to 23 hours and 59 minutes.
Touch the PRESET key once. The LED display will show "00 00". The "00" on the
left hand side will flash on and off indicating that the hours can be preset. The
indicator light at the PRESET key will also be on.
To adjust, simply move your finger around the circular keys on the bottom right of the
unit.
Touch the PRESET key again. The "00" on the right side will flash on and off
indicating that the minutes can be preset. Adjust the preset time by touching the
circular keys.
Once the PRESET time has been set, press one of the automatic function keys:
SOUP, SIMMER or STEAM. The indicator light of the selected cooking function will
light up. The preset time will count down to "0" and then start the programmed
function.
If no function key is touched within 1 minute after the preset time has been set then
the unit will automatically turn off.
For example: if it is 13:00 (1pm) and you want the appliance to start cooking at 18:00 (6pm),
set the timer to 05:00 hours. Five hours later, at 18:00 (6pm), the appliance will
automatically start cooking.
TIMER SETTING
NOTE: The timer does not function in standby mode. The maximum timer setting is 9 hours
and 59 minutes. The minimum timer setting is 1 minute.
After you have switched to the STEW or FRY functions, touch the TIMER key twice
to adjust the hour indicator on the LED display. The hour indicator will flash on and
off indicating that it can now be adjusted.
