4.15.7 Emergency call (babycall)
You can programme the handset so that one specific number is automatically
dialled when any key is pressed or when the handset is put into or taken out
of the charger. Incoming calls can simply be answered!
4.15.7.1 Set/change emergency number:
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'TELEPHONE' appears.
- Press the OK key twice.
- 'HANDSET RING' appears on the display.
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'SET EMERGNCY' appears.
- Press 'OK' or 'BACK' to go back.
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'EDIT NR?' appears.
- Press 'OK' or 'BACK' to go back.
- Enter the number using the keyboard and use the '
number before the cursor
- Press the 'OK' key to confirm the number.
4.15.7.2 Activate emergency number
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'TELEPHONE' appears.
- Press the OK key twice.
- 'HANDSET RING' appears on the display.
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'SET EMERGNCY' appears.
- Press 'OK' or 'BACK' to go back.
- 'ENABLE?' appears.
- Press 'OK' to activate the emergency call facility or 'BACK' to go back.
When the emergency call facility has been activated, 'EMERGENCY' appears on
the display in standby mode.
4.15.7.3 Deactivating emergency call facility
- Press the left softkey
- Press the '*' key.
'EMERGENCY' disappears from the screen and the handset number is
displayed again.
4.16. Subscribing a Butler 1410 handset to a Butler 1410 base unit
In order to be able to make and receive telephone calls, a new handset has to
be subscribed to the base unit. You can subscribe 5 handsets to one base unit.
Four base stations per handset can be subscribed. By default, each handset is
subscribed as handset 1 on the base unit upon delivery (base unit 1).
