You can read (e.g. status word) or write setpoints (e.g. frequency
setpoint) via the PDOs.

Enable standard device via terminal 28 (CINH).

Set terminal 28 to HIGH level.

Select setpoint.

The master sends the setpoint via the process output word
selected.

Now the drive starts.

Inhibit standard device.
