Fitting instructions
1)
Disassemble the bumper and permanently remove the metal buffer beam. Loosen the exhaust at the
bottom and remove the towing rings and the heat shield.
2)
Place the tow bar with points (A) on the liberated screw-thread holes (where the towing ring was
attached). Remove the tape sealing the most distant hole. Insert the bolts and washers and tighten them
(make sure the tow bar doesn't touch the exhaust).
3)
Place mounting pieces (g) and (h) with points (C) on the provided bolts at the bottom of the body work on
the outside of the chassis beams. Insert the bolts and nuts. Points (B) matching with the provided
drillings in the underside of the chassis beams (sealed with tape). Drill these holes through with ø10,5mm
till in the trunk and enlarge these holes in the trunk till ø17mm. Insert the heightened washer through the
trunk and insert the bolts, washers and nuts and tighten them firmly.
4)
Attach the heat shield with a bolt of the tow bar and make an incision in the bumper as on sketch
enclosed. Place the bumper on its original place.
5)
Assemble (*) and tighten everything firmly.

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
