Keypad lock
Simultaneously pressing the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons locks out the entire keypad, that is, the humidity values can no longer be increased
or decreased, or the humidifier can no longer be switched off. Pressing any button in this state will cause all the diodes (30-80% rel. humidity)
to go on. This indicates that the keypad lock is active. The keypad lock ensures that unauthorized individuals cannot change the humidifier
settings.
Note: The keypad lock remains in active even in the event of a power failure. It can only be deactivated by again simultaneously pressing the
plus (+) and minus (-) buttons.
Water level indicator
This indicates the amount of water currently available in the reservoir. If the water reservoir is empty, the green light (0) on the left begins
flashing. In this case, please fill the water reservoir immediately in order to ensure the continued proper operation of the humidifier.
Attention: The water level indicator is only operational when the unit is switched on.
Filter Replacement
Cleaner filter:
The cleaner filter is located on the back of the unit. Through the employment of this filter the humidifier performs an additional air cleaning
function. The filter should be regularly replaced in order to maintain its cleaning efficiency. The replacement interval depends on the ambient
air In any case, the filter should be replaced no later than every 12 weeks.
Proceed as follows:
Unplug the unit's power cord from the mains outlet!
Remove the filter from the back of the unit by pulling the it out from the top (refer to Fig. 1).
Remove the used filter from the frame and insert a new filter.
Insert the new filter into the guides in the unit from the top until it reaches the end stop. Make sure the side of the filter with the grid
faces inwards (towards the fan).
Evaporation filter:
The evaporation filter disk is made of a special material whose surface properties provide the largest possible evaporation surface. This en-
sures totally precipitation-free humidification. The humidifier can be operated with regular tap water. We recommend replacing the filter
regularly, based on the length of time the unit is operated. In any case, the filter should be replaced no later than every 12 weeks (depending
on the hardness of the water and the amount of dirt and dust in the ambient air).
Proceed as follows:
Unplug the unit's power cord from the mains outlet!
Remove the front outlet grate together with the lower housing panel by pulling them out from the top.
Remove the filter from the front.
Release the filter retainer in the centre of the filter (refer to Fig. 2).
Remove the filter retainer from the old filter and install it on the new filter medium. Make sure the retainer sits properly and securely
to prevent the filter from working itself loose during operation.
Now reinstall the filter in the unit and reinstall the front housing and the outlet grate.
Please only use our specially manufactured original filters otherwise proper operation of the unit cannot be ensured. We cannot assume
liability for any damages or performance reductions resulting from the employment of other filters. We recommend thoroughly cleaning the
unit whenever the filter is replaced.
