Dear customer,
We thank you for choosing the B 250 humidifier. With this unit, you have obtained an extremely effective evaporating humidifier and air clea-
ner that offers you all the advantages of current technology. The correct humidity not only protects your health, but also prevents damage to
valuable furnishings, fittings, and items in storage, as well as avoiding production stoppages of moisturesensitive processes. The unit is totally
precipitation-free in its operation and, due to its low power consumption, is also extremely kind to the environment. We wish you many hours
of enjoyment from your B 250 humidifier.
Commissioning the unit
Inspect the delivery for completeness and make sure the individual components (e.g., the filter) are properly seated. Set up the unit on a level
surface and connect it to the mains power supply according to the specifications on the nameplate. The red "Standby" light goes on and the
unit is now operational. Switch the unit on by pressing the "Standby" button. Then open the water reservoir cover and fill the reservoir with
clean tap water. Observe the water level indicator on the operator panel when filling the unit. Do not overfill the unit! The humidifier is now
ready to use. Adjust the unit to the desired settings as described on the right.
Attention: Take care not to spill any water when filling the unit, as this may damage electric or electronic components or result in a short
circuit.

Standby
Use the „Standby" button to switch the unit on and off. Please note
that, even when it is switched off, the unit remains under power. This
is indicated by the red „Standby" light above the button. Before wor-
king on the unit, always disconnect it from the mains power supply.
Fan speed selection
The B 250 offers three-stage fan speed selection.
Stage 1 (quiet mode):
At Stage 1, the humidifier operates at a low fan speed, making it particularly silent
Stage 2 (high performance):
At Stage 2, the fan speed is maximised. This stage is recommended where high or rapid humidification is desired.
Automatic mode:
When this stage is selected, the electronic control automatically regulates the fan speed. In other words, if the difference between the desired
and actual humidity is very large, the fan speed is increased. As the difference diminishes, the speed is automatically reduced correspondingly.
Adjusting the desired humidity and displaying the actual humidity
The current relative humidity is displayed when the unit is switched on. Pressing either the plus (+) or minus (-) button changes the display to
show the specified desired value. If no other button is pressed, the desired value remains displayed for approx. 5 seconds. During this time you
can press either the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons to increase or decrease the desired value. Once the new value has been specified, the display
automatically switches back to the current relative humidity reading after approx. 5 seconds.
