Pull the feeder rearward (A) slowly and release the lock mechanism
(B). (Figure 5)

Push the feeder to the forward (C) position.
6.1.1 To adjust the directional exhaust
● Rotate the directional exhaust (A) to make sure that the exhaust air is
directed away from the operator. (Figure 6)
3.2 To use the product
Warning! Make sure that the trigger is not pushed in when the
product is not used. If the safety bracket is accidentally activated the
product will fire a nail.
Warning! Do not point the product towards your body or at
another person.
Warning! Do not drive nails into materials that are too hard, at too
great an angle or close to the edge of the workpiece. Nails can ricochet
and cause personal injury.
The products nail driving mechanism can be fired in 2 ways. Choose 1 of the
alternatives that follow:
● Place the drive guide on the work surface. Push the tool against the
surface until the safety bracket is depressed and push in the trigger.
Caution! The recoil can cause the safety bracket to be depressed
a second time. This will fire another nail. Make sure that you have a firm
grip when the product is used.
● Push in the trigger. Push the tool against the surface until the safety
bracket is depressed.
3.3 To adjust the nail driving depth
The depth is set at the factory to the maximum setting.

Disconnect the air hose.

Loosen the screw (A). (Figure 7)

Move the depth adjuster (B) up to increase the depth and down to
decrease the depth.

Tighten the screw.

Fire a nail and do a check of the depth.

Repeat the adjustment until the depth is correct.
Caution! The depth setting determines the air pressure that is
necessary. High air pressure will have more wear on the product. Do not
use a deeper depth than what is needed.

4 Maintenance
4.1 To do maintenance on the product
Warning! Disconnect the air hose before you do any maintenance
on the product.
● Do an inspection of the trigger before each use. Make sure that it
operates correctly and is not damaged.
● Do an inspection of the safety bracket before each use. Make sure that it
operates correctly and is not damaged.
● Do a check of all screws on the product. Make sure that they are
tightened correctly.
● Put 5–6 drops of pneumatic oil in the air inlet before each use.
4.2 To clean the product
Warning! Disconnect the air hose before you clean the product.
Caution! Do not soak the the product. This can damage internal
parts.
● Clean the outside of the tool with a nonflammable cleaning solution.
