TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Light switch is turned off.
2. Fuse is blown or circuit breaker is turned off.
3. The light fixture is not properly attached to the
mounting plate, if this is a new installation.
4. Daylight turn-off (photocell) is in effect.
5. The circuit wiring is incorrect, if this is a new
installation.
6. The motion sensor is aimed in the wrong
direction.
7. The outside air temperature is close to the same
as a person's body heat.
8. The light has been turned "OFF" using the app.
1. The motion sensor may be installed in a
relatively dark location.
2. The "Full Brite Setting" in the app is set to
"TEST".
1. The motion sensor may be sensing small animals
or automobile traffic.
2. Sensitivity is set too high.
3. The "DualBrite Duration" in the app is in the 3
hour, 6 hour, or dusk-to-dawn setting.
4. The outside temperature is much warmer or
cooler than a person's body heat (summer or
winter).
5. The light fixture is wired through a dimmer or
timer.
The light fixture may be installed in a relatively dark
location.
1. The motion sensor may be picking up a heat
source like an air vent, dryer vent, or brightly
painted, heat-reflective surface.
2. The light has been turned "ON" using the app.
3. The light fixture is wired through a dimmer or
timer.
4. The light fixture is on the same circuit as a
motor, transformer, or fluorescent bulb.

SOLUTION
1. Turn light switch on.
2. Replace fuse or turn circuit breaker on.
3. Re-install the light fixture to the mounting
plate (see Final Assembly on page 4).
4. Recheck after dark.
5. Verify wiring is correct.
6. Re-aim the motion sensor to cover the desired
area.
7. Increase the sensitivity setting. See Seasonal
Changes on page 6 for more information.
8. Use the app to set the light to "AUTO" mode.
1. The light fixture is operating normally under
these circumstances.
2. Set the "Full Brite Setting" in the app to the
1, 5, or 20 minute setting.
1. Decrease the sensitivity setting or reposition
the motion sensor.
2. Decrease the sensitivity setting.
3. The light fixture is operating normally under
these circumstances.
4. Decrease the sensitivity setting. See Seasonal
Changes on page 6 for more information.
5. Do not use a dimmer or timer to control the
light fixture. Replace the dimmer or timer
with a standard on/off wall switch.
Relocate the light fixture or use the 3 hour or 6
hour setting.
1. Decrease the sensitivity setting or reposition
the motion sensor.
2. Use the app to set the light to "AUTO" or
"OFF" mode.
3. Do not use a dimmer or timer to control the
light fixture. Replace the dimmer or timer
with a standard on/off wall switch.
4. Install the light fixture on a circuit without
motors, transformers, or fluorescent bulbs.
