c) Switching the meter on and off
• Use the "POWER" on/off button (4) to turn the meter on and off. To turn on, press and hold down the "POWER"
button for approx. 3 seconds.
• The meter will turn on with a short beep and display the start screen with all display segments for approx. 3 seconds.
• After the display test is completed, the display shows the last set measurement function and the current measured
value.
• To turn off, press and hold down the "POWER" button for approx. 3 seconds. The device turns off with a long beep.
d) System settings
The meter allows the system data relevant to the user to be set via a menu. These are, for example, units of measure-
ment, time and date, etc.
These system settings must be made in advance so measurements can be stored with a time stamp, etc.
When the meter is turned on, press the "SET" button to enter the settings menu. Press and hold down the "SET" but-
ton for approx. 2 seconds. In doing so, the data logger must not be enabled.
Perform the settings quickly. The menu will automatically disappear if no button is pressed within more
than 5 seconds. You can also exit the settings menu or the respective parameter by briefly pressing the
"POWER" button.
The following buttons are mainly used for menu setting:
• The "SET" button is used to switch over the menu items.
• The "▲" and "▼" buttons are used to change the value or parameter.
In the "dAtE" menu item, be sure to enable the selection of the respective setting step using the "ENTER"
button before entering parameters using the two arrow buttons. This is only required for the "dAtE" menu
item.
• The "ENTER" button is used to confirm the selection and the set value/parameter.
• The "POWER" button is used to abort the current setting without saving or to exit the menu.
