All of the valves can be used to drain the jacket. Inflate the jacket halfway. Bring the
desired valve to the place where it is
the jacket is completely drained.
WARNING:
This jacket and the materials used are tested under the conditions of normal
inhaled air (21% oxygen/79% nitrogen) and up to 40% nitrox. Use of other
nitrox blends or helium can affect the materials under certain circumstances
and can damage them. Deviant mixtures can also cause explosions.
Avoid long asting direct exposure to sunlight or extremely high temperatures. UV
rays shorten the life of the product to a considerable extent.
The jacket may be used in water temperatures of 0 – 42 degrees Celsius and in air
temperatures of –10 to +50 degrees Celsius.
Keep sharp objects away from the jacket.
Handle the jacket carefully. Don't put any heavy parts on the jacket, don't drag it
over rough ground and don't fold it up.
Grease the coupling and the connector from time to time.
Use only fresh water or mild soap to clean it. No chemical cleaning agents or the
like are to be used under any circumstances, as these can damage the jacket.
Salt water, biological materials, dirt, oil and chlorine damage the urethane-coated
nylon bladder, seams, the corrugated hose and valves. Thus, the jacket can
become unreliable, if not downright useless.
It is recommended to have the jacket inspected annually by an authorised
SCUBAPRO retailer.
Always make sure with children
that only shallow dive sites are frequented,
only no-decompression dives are undertaken,
dive times are short and repeated dives are absolutely forbidden.
Before each dive, check all of your child's equipment particularly carefully. Make
sure that the jacket fits well, that the inflator is connected and the valve of the
diving tank is open. Make sure that the weight-belt can be quickly and easily
discarded in a dangerous situation.
