1 .02 Intended purpose
The belt is intended for lifting or supporting a person or body parts
of a person.
1 .03 Area of use
The belt is used with the GTP1 Transfer platform to activate users
from sitting to standing position at hospitals, nursing homes, insti-
tutions and individual housing.
The belt is intended to support a standing person on the GTP1.
The user must actively participate and also be able to communi-
cate well.
1 .04 Conditions of use
The use of the belt is subject to the following:
• The user can balance in a sitting position and has strength in
the lower and upper body and can communicate
• The belt is used by trained staff or persons who have been
instructed in the use of the belt in question.
• The correct size of belt is used.
• The maximum nominal load of 205 kg must not be exceeded.
• The helper pays attention to the well-being of the user when
using the belt.
• The belt is used in connection with the GTP1 Transfer
platform from Guldmann.
1 .05 Important/Precautions
• Read the instructions carefully before using the belt.
• The belt's maximum load must never be exceeded.
• The belt may only be used to lift a person.
• Before a belt is used, it must be examined according to point
2.02.
• Never use a belt that is too big for the user.
• Possible repairs must only be made by the manufacturer.
• Any serious incident that occurred in relation to this device
should be reported to the manufacturer and the local
competent authority.
1 .06 UHF RFID tag
This product features a passive UHF RFID tag integrated
in the product label. The RFID tag can be used for asset
management & tracking purposes.
The RFID tag is readable with equipment compliant to
EPC global UHF Class 1 Gen ISO 18000-63.
1 .07 Use
If there is any doubt about the selection or use of a belt,
please contact your supplier.
Important!
Plan the move . Never leave the user standing in the belt unat-
tended. Before the user stands up be sure to check that the
user cannot get trapped and that the belt will not get tangled
on the bed, wheelchair or other things.
Be careful with any tubes or wires attached to the user and / or
equipment.
Guldmann shall not be liable for faults or accidents due to incor-
rect use of the belt, or for reasons of inadequate attention on the
part of the carer or user. If the belt is used in combination with
products that are not manufac-tured by Guldmann, a risk assess-
ment must be made by qualified staff.
Caution!
Be careful when attaching the straps of the belt on the Trans-
fer platform. Check that the straps have been correctly placed
in the hook.
