4. Installation

4.1 Electric installation

Risk of electric shock! All electrical work in connection with the installation must
only be carried out by a trained electrician! Before installation ensure that the boil-
er is dead!
Also observe the proper earthing.
Consider water-carrying pipes when setting-up protection lines.
Mains voltage: 1/N/PE
AC 230 V, 50 Hz
In Germany the VDE and local regulations must be followed during installation; in
all other countries, follow the relevant regulations.
Notes: All cables should be within the casing of the boiler and should be fixed with
the ties and the strain relief fixings.
Cable lengths
Sensor- and bus cables do not carry mains voltage, but protective low voltage.
Never route them in parallel to mains cables (interference). Shielded cables have
otherwise to be installed.
Permitted cable lengths:
Cu cable up to 20 m: 0,8 mm
Cu cable up to 80 m: 1 mm
Cu cable up to 120 m: 1,5 mm
Cable types: e.g. LIYY or LiYCY 2 x 0,8
