Valve terminal type VMPA−A SI−EPL−...−4E4A−Z has been
designed exclusively for controlling pneumatic actuators
and is only suitable for use in bus systems in accordance
with the AS−Interface specifications. If additional commer
cially−available components are connected, the specified
limits for pressures, temperatures, electrical data,
torques, etc. must not be exceeded.
The valve terminal enables the control of 4 valve solenoid
coils and the registering of 4 sensors. The exchangeable
connections of the CPX system are used for connecting the
sensors.
AS−Interface bus systems and valve terminals may only be
installed by personnel especially trained for this purpose.

system can be found in the manual for the AS−Interface
master.

Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S Commission only a valve terminal which has been
fitted and wired completely.
S Switch on the power supply only if the DIL switch is
positioned at a permitted setting.
